On April 12, 2016 the SERA Committee was presented with a decision item recommending the adoption of PRC-005-6 and MOD-031-2 in accordance with the Standards Adoption Process. The SERA Committee approved the recommendation.

On April 12, 2016 the SERA Committee held its second meeting of 2016. Highlights from the meeting include:

1. Adoption of PRC-005-6 and MOD-031-2: The SERA Committee was presented with a decision item recommending the adoption of PRC-005-6 and MOD-031-2 in accordance with the Standards Adoption Process. The SERA Committee approved the recommendation.
   
2. Two mitigation plans certified complete: The SERA Committee was presented with an information item on the status of Confirmed Violations. This information item included an update indicating that MRO has certified SaskPower's completion of mitigation plans for PRC-008-0 R2 and PRC-017-0 R1 violations.
   
3. New SERA logo: The SERA Committee was presented with a redesigned logo for consideration. The SERA Committee approved the new logo and it will be utilized on all SERA documents and communications going forward.
